Requirements: .NET framework 2.0, DirectX 9.0 (December 2005 or later). After installing .NET 2.0 you'll need to reboot before it can find the files. If the game crashes on startup, install the DirectX update.
The game doesn't require any installation; just unzip the files and run the executable.
Use the following controls:
When you target a ship you will see a red box around the ship and an arrow next to the crosshairs to help you locate it. Look for the arrows in front of the target and shoot for their center to lead your target. The target's health is displayed below the crosshairs, and if you've been damaged your health is displayed above.
From the menu you can start a single player or multiplayer game. For single player games, "Start test" gives you a small mission that tests recent features; "Start mission" has an actual mission to play. Multiplayer games aren't optimized for internet play yet but they may be playable if the connection is reliable and has low latency.
